As a Certified Financial Planner™, I have formal university training in retirement planning, federal taxation, insurance, investment management, financial planning and estate planning. As both a CFP® and an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR), I operate under a strict Fiduciary Standard and in your best interests at all times, as opposed to a lesser “suitability” standard used by stockbrokers and insurance-only salespersons.
I have organized a hybrid practice because you may have both investment and insurance needs. I believe that you are best served by an integrated solution rather than a loose patchwork of plans possibly working at cross purposes. This approach is specifically designed to avoid conflict of interests that single purpose insurance-only salespersons, commission stockbrokers, and fee-only investment advisors inherently have as a natural result of their business model.
On the investment side, I operate on a fee-only basis as an Investment Advisory Representative (IAR) through my Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), Brookstone Capital Management LLC and custody all assets with TD Ameritrade Institutional.
I can offer you a large array of investment options, not just stocks, bonds, and proprietary products. We have modern technology and tools available to manage your portfolio and limit drawdowns in bear markets.
We provide solutions to your problems rather than products to satisfy sales quotas.
I am an independent insurance agent looking out for your best interests, not a captive agent working for a single carrier. I use only A.M. Best "A" rated insurance carriers that I have carefully chosen considering the competitiveness of products, business practices, and ownership. Insurance agents are compensated by commissions paid by the carrier.
